“Al Capone” Autographed Menu

Johnny Torrio was an Italian born American mobster who helped build the Chicago outfit in the 1920’s and was later inherited by his protégé Al Capone. This menu was signed for Daniella Pisani, a waitress at Roos’ Restaurant that was a favorite of Torrio. She asked for Capone’s autograph and then handed it to Torrio for his autograph as well. The menu was sat on the table next to Torrio until they left the restaurant. Torrio never signed it. The menu was left to Daniella’s Daughter, following her passing in 1994.
